SWAN (the Sustainable Wine and Spirits Alliance) is a global coalition of wine and spirits producers that works to eliminate illegal trade in alcoholic beverages. Its “Fight against Illicit Trade” program combines industry‑wide standards, data sharing, and collaboration with governments and law‑enforcement agencies to detect, prevent, and disrupt the production, distribution, and sale of counterfeit, smuggled, or otherwise unlawful wine and spirits.
