Police arrest suspect in robbery of Adamawa Polytechnic

Police in Yola, Adamawa State, arrested a suspect identified as 28‑year‑old Abdulrahman Umar for allegedly taking part in the armed robbery of Adamawa Polytechnic on 23 April 2024. The police said the suspect was apprehended after a coordinated operation in the campus vicinity, recovered some of the stolen items, and will be charged with armed robbery and illegal possession of firearms.
