Police arrest son, accomplice over father’s kidnap, ₦6m
In March 2024 Nigerian police arrested a 23‑year‑old man and his accomplice after they were identified as the kidnappers of a businessman’s 12‑year‑old son. The victims’ father, a prominent Lagos entrepreneur, had paid a ransom of about ₦6 million (roughly $8,000) to secure his child’s release.
