NPA Chief Highlights Outdated Port Infrastructure in West

The NPA (National Ports Authority) chief highlighted that many ports in the western region suffer from outdated infrastructure, including aging berths, insufficient cargo‑handling equipment, and inadequate road and rail links, which limit capacity, increase turnaround times and hinder trade competitiveness.
