MACBAN welcomes US religious freedom report, distances Fulani

MACBAN (the Muslim Association of Canada – British Columbia and Alberta) issued a statement welcoming the U.S. State Department’s 2023 International Religious Freedom Report, praising its attention to religious‑rights issues in Canada. At the same time, MACBAN publicly distanced itself from the Fulani community, clarifying that it has no affiliation with Fulani groups and does not endorse any statements or actions attributed to them.
