Labour calls for action against exploitation, accusing government

Labour’s leadership has urged the government to take immediate steps to curb exploitation—particularly in low‑pay and gig‑economy sectors—accusing the ruling party of failing to protect workers, enforce labour standards and address modern slavery, and calling for stronger enforcement, higher minimum wages and tougher penalties for abusive employers.
