Kwara strengthens partnership to boost mechanised farming

Kwara State government in Nigeria has deepened its collaboration with agricultural partners—such as the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, private agribusinesses, and development agencies—to expand mechanised farming. The initiative provides tractors, harvesters and other equipment to smallholder farmers, offers training on modern agronomic practices, and creates financing schemes to increase crop yields, improve food security and stimulate rural employment across the state.
