If our security forces can arrest social media
In many jurisdictions, security forces may detain or arrest individuals for social‑media activity only when the content violates specific criminal laws—such as incitement to violence, hate speech, defamation, threats to national security, or illegal propaganda. The arrest must be based on a valid warrant or lawful exception, respect due‑process rights, and be proportionate to the alleged offense. Simply posting opinions, criticism, or lawful speech, even if controversial, does not ordinarily give security forces the authority to arrest. Views Nigeria
