Government Opens Polio Emergency Operations Centre in Katsina

The Government of Nigeria has inaugurated a Polio Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) in Katsura, Katsina State. The EOC coordinates surveillance, vaccination campaigns, logistics and community engagement to accelerate the eradication of wild‑type poliovirus and respond quickly to any outbreaks in the region.
