Fire destroys main library at KanoPolytechnic

In March 2024 a fire gutted the main library of Kano State Polytechnic in Nigeria, destroying books, computers, furniture and other resources. The blaze was reported to have started in the early morning, prompting evacuation of staff and students and an investigation by local authorities.
