Ex-IGP Adamu quits APC, cites irregularities in primaries 

Former Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Kano Adamu announced on 24 May 2024 that he has left the All Progressives Congress, saying the party’s primary elections were riddled with irregularities, vote‑buying and manipulation that compromised a fair selection process.
