Didier Drogba (born March 11 1978) is an Ivorian former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is best known for his nine‑year spell at Chelsea FC, where he won four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, the 2012 UEFA Champions League and was named the club’s Player of the Year twice. Drogba also captained the Ivory Coast national team, becoming its all‑time leading scorer and helping the nation qualify for its first World Cup in 2006.
