roma
Roma are a traditionally nomadic ethnic group originating in the Indian subcontinent, now spread across Europe and the Americas. They speak Romani languages, share distinct cultural traditions, and are often referred to as “Gypsies,” though that term can be considered pejorative. Their population is estimated at 10–12 million, with large communities in Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Spain, Italy, and the United States. Historically marginalized, Roma people continue to advocate for greater social inclusion, education, and protection of their rights. Views Nigeria
