Ikeja Electric is Nigeria’s largest private electricity distribution company, serving Lagos State and parts of Ogun State. It was created in 2013 when the former Lagos State Electricity Board was privatized, with the consortium of Powergen and the International Finance Corporation holding the majority stake.
