dangote refinery

The Dangote Refinery, located in Lagos State, Nigeria, is the world’s largest single‑trains oil refinery. Built by billionaire Aliko Dangote’s Dangote Group, it has a capacity of about 650,000 barrels of crude per day and includes petrochemical units for gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, LPG, and polypropylene. Expected to cut Nigeria’s reliance on imported fuel, the project began operations in 2023 and aims to become a regional hub for refined petroleum products. Views Nigeria
