NAFDAC destroys N1.8 billion worth of counterfeit drugs and

NAFDAC (Nigeria’s National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control) announced that it has seized and destroyed counterfeit medicines valued at about N1.8 billion (roughly US$4 million). The operation targeted fake antimalarials, antibiotics and other substandard drugs that posed serious health risks, and the destroyed stock was incinerated in compliance with safety regulations.
