Roy Keane (born 10 August 1971) is a former Irish professional footballer and manager. Renowned for his fierce competitiveness and leadership, he played as a central midfielder for clubs including Nottingham Forest, Manchester United, and Celtic, winning numerous Premier League titles, FA Cups, and the 1999 UEFA Champions League with United. After retiring, Keanae managed Sunderland, Ipswich Town, and coached at Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest, and later worked as a pundit for television.
