LDU Quito (Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito) is a professional football club based in Quito, Ecuador. Founded in 1930, it is one of the country’s most successful teams, winning multiple Ecuadorian Serie A titles and becoming the first Ecuadorian club to win a major South American tournament when it captured the 2008 Copa Sudamericana, followed by the 2009 Copa Libertadores.
