Pope to release major artificial intelligence manifesto

The Vatican announced that Pope Francis will issue a “major artificial‑intelligence manifesto,” a document outlining the Catholic Church’s ethical guidelines for AI. It will address how AI should respect human dignity, promote the common good, protect privacy, and avoid bias, urging developers, policymakers and users to align technology with moral and social responsibility.
