Police arrest suspect in Anambra kidnapping and rape

Police in Anambra State arrested a 28‑year‑old man suspected of kidnapping and raping a 19‑year‑old woman in the Oyi local government area. The suspect was detained at the Oyi police station after the victim’s family reported the crime, and investigators are conducting forensic examinations and preparing charges of kidnapping, rape and unlawful confinement.
