PenCom Launches Pilot Phase of PenCare Initiative, Welcomes

The Pension Commission (PenCom) of Nigeria has begun the pilot phase of its “PenCare” initiative, a health‑care benefit program for pension fund contributors and retirees. The pilot, launched in select states, provides members with access to subsidised medical services, health insurance coverage and wellness programmes, aiming to improve members’ health outcomes and demonstrate a scalable model for nationwide rollout.
