Baba Ahmed is a Nigerian political commentator who explained that former governors Rabiu Musa “Obi” and Rabiu Kwankwaso were rejected by their parties and voters because both were seen as entrenched political “godfathers” whose administrations were marred by allegations of corruption, intra‑party rivalry and failure to deliver promised reforms.
