Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the umbrella organization of Igbo traditional rulers and community leaders, publicly endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for a second term in the 2027 Nigerian presidential election. The group said it would mobilise its nationwide network of Igbo stakeholders, lobby party officials and grassroots supporters, and coordinate advocacy campaigns to secure Tinubu’s re‑election while also pushing for greater inclusion of Igbo interests in federal policies.
