FG Mobilises $1.02 bn to Convert Vehicles to CNG
FG Group, a leading Indian commercial vehicle manufacturer, announced a ₹84 billion (≈ $1.02 billion) investment plan to convert its fleet of trucks and buses to compressed natural gas (CNG). The program aims to retrofit existing diesel vehicles and produce new CNG‑powered models, targeting lower emissions, reduced fuel costs and compliance with stricter environmental regulations in India’s transport sector. The funding will support R&D, new CNG engine production, and the establishment of refueling infrastructure across key markets. Views Nigeria
