Declan Rice (born 14 January 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder (and occasionally centre‑back) for Premier League club Arsenal and the England national team. A product of West Ham United’s academy, he made his senior debut in 2017, became club captain, and earned over 50 caps for England, featuring in the 2022 World Cup.
