The National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) of Ghana reaffirmed its dedication to protecting vulnerable workers—such as informal sector employees, domestic workers, and those in hazardous occupations—by strengthening enforcement of occupational safety and health regulations, expanding coverage of injury compensation, and increasing outreach, training, and monitoring to ensure these groups receive timely medical care, wage replacement and workplace safety support.
