Kwara strengthens partnership to boost mechanised farming

Kwara State government in Nigeria has deepened its collaboration with agricultural partners—such as the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, private agribusinesses, and development agencies—to expand mechanised farming. The strengthened partnership aims to increase the use of tractors, combine harvesters and other modern equipment, improve seed and fertilizer distribution, and provide training for farmers, thereby boosting productivity, reducing post‑harvest losses and enhancing food security in the state.
