In a recent interview, Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist Tony Elumandel (often referred to as “Elumelu”) urged Africans to drop a “victim mindset.” He argued that continual reliance on external aid and blaming historical injustices hampers innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.
