Reps call for immediate funding for NCDC amid

The Representatives (U.S. House members) are urging the federal government to provide immediate funding to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) to support its response to ongoing public‑health emergencies, such as outbreaks of Lassa fever, cholera and COVID‑19, and to strengthen surveillance, laboratory capacity, and vaccine distribution across Nigeria.
