Pope to release major artificial intelligence manifesto

The Vatican announced that Pope Francis will issue a “major artificial‑intelligence manifesto,” a document outlining the Catholic Church’s ethical guidelines for the development and use of AI. The manifesto is expected to address issues such as human dignity, privacy, bias, the impact on work and social inequality, and the need for responsible stewardship of technology, urging policymakers, tech companies and believers to ensure AI serves the common good and respects moral values.
