MACBAN welcomes US religious freedom report, distances Fulani

MACBAN (the Muslim Association of Canada – Bangladesh) issued a statement welcoming the U.S. State Department’s 2023 International Religious Freedom Report, praising its emphasis on protecting religious minorities. At the same time, MACBAN publicly distanced itself from the Fulani community, clarifying that it has no affiliation with Fulani groups and does not support any actions or statements attributed to them.
