ADC Responds to Tinubu: “We Will Rescue Nigeria

The African Development Bank (AfDB) issued a statement after President Bola Tinubu’s remarks, pledging to work with his administration to “rescue” Nigeria’s economy. The bank said it would accelerate financing for critical sectors—such as power, infrastructure, agriculture and social protection—and mobilise additional resources to help stabilize public finances, support debt sustainability and promote inclusive growth.
