Rodri says City are hoping Arsenal will drop points in the EPL.

Manchester City midfielder Rodri said that his side are hoping Arsenal will lose points in the Premier League title race.

Rodri explained that City will take advantage if the Gunners falter.

With two matches remaining for each club, Arsenal sit two points ahead of City.

Arsenal will host Burnley, while City will travel to Bournemouth on Tuesday.

On the final day of the season, Pep Guardiola’s side will play Aston Villa at home, and Arsenal will travel to Crystal Palace.

“Anything can happen, but we need Arsenal to drop points, whether it’s in the next game or the last one,” Rodri told reporters at Wembley.

“If I were in their position it would not be easy to finish the task. We have to keep pushing until the end.”
