Rio Ferdinand names UCL team the best in the world.

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has declared Paris Saint-Germain the best football club in the world.

Ferdinand made the statement during a recent interview with talkSPORT.

He said the Ligue 1 giants are positioned to secure back‑to‑back UEFA Champions League titles.

PSG captured the Champions League last season by defeating Inter Milan in the final.

Under manager Luis Enrique, the team has reached the current season’s final after eliminating Bayern Munich in the semi‑finals.

“He [Enrique] is the manager of the current Champions League winners,” Ferdinand said.

“The current team that is in there [Champions League final] to win it for back‑to‑back titles, and they are the best team on the planet,” he added.
