Real Madrid: I’m worried, Dumfries has signed – Agbonlahor warns Alexander-Arnold about Mourinho

Former Aston Villa captain Gabby Agbonlahor has cautioned Real Madrid right‑back Trent Alexander‑Arnold about the impact of Jose Mourinho on his playing time.

Agbonlahor expressed concern that Alexander‑Arnold may find it difficult to secure minutes under Mourinho because of the arrival of Denzel Dumfries.

Mourinho is set to return to Real Madrid as manager, while Dumfries is joining the club from Inter Milan.

Speaking with Rangers legend Ally McCoist on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor said, “I’m worried for Trent, I really am. Denzel Dumfries has signed, hasn’t he? Or nearly signed, from Inter Milan.”

“He’s more of a Jose Mourinho right‑back, isn’t he?” he added. “He’s a strong, aggressive, quick, physical right‑back. I don’t see Trent playing much under Mourinho.”

Alexander‑Arnold moved to Real Madrid last summer after leaving Liverpool as a free agent.
