Rangers are reportedly in advanced negotiations to acquire the highly‑rated Nigerian defender Akpe Victory from Hungarian club Zalaegerszegi, according to the Daily Post.

The Scottish side faces stiff competition from Portuguese club Benfica, which has also expressed interest in the 19‑year‑old centre‑back.
