Rangers, the Scottish Premiership powerhouse, are reportedly negotiating to acquire Nigerian centre‑back Akpe Victory from Hungarian club Zalaegerszegi TE.

Victory has attracted attention with his solid displays for Zalaegerszegi this season, making 15 appearances and scoring once.

While Benfica has also expressed interest in the 19‑year‑old, Rangers are believed to be leading the competition and preparing a formal offer, potentially exceeding €5 million.

Transfer analyst Ben Jacobs reports that clubs in Germany, Spain and France are monitoring the defender’s situation closely.

The defender previously played in Lithuania for FK Banga Gargždai before joining Zalaegerszegi TE.
