Tennis player Emma Raducanu has announced that she is reuniting with coach Andrew Richardson, who guided her to the 2021 US Open title, as she prepares for Wimbledon.
After ending her partnership with Francisco Roig and spending two months without coaching, Raducanu hopes to return to the form she achieved under Richardson’s guidance.

The decision is viewed as a step back to fundamentals, aiming to restore the aggressive, early‑hitting approach that defined her 2021 victory.
Following a period of inconsistent performance and injuries—including a post‑viral illness that forced her to skip recent clay‑court events—she seeks stability ahead of the grass‑court season.
“Grateful to have reconnected with someone who has known me for over a decade now and looking forward to building together one iteration at a time,” Raducanu said in a statement confirming the reunion.
