Primate Ayodele warns Peter Obi that Kwankwaso will ruin his 2027 presidential bid

The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has cautioned Nigerian Democratic Congress presidential hopeful Peter Obi about the potential negative impact of his running mate, former Anambra governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the Primate described Obi as “too desperate” and unable to see beyond his own desires.

Ayodele said Obi “doesn’t listen to divine instructions” and that Kwankwaso has already betrayed him without Obi realizing it. “Peter Obi has fallen into the wrong hands for his ambition,” the Primate added.

He warned that Kwankwaso is not prepared to fight for Obi and will eventually sell him out, a fact Obi is unaware of. According to Ayodele, Kwankwaso’s actions are driven solely by personal interest.

While the Primate expressed no hatred toward Obi or other politicians, he stated that Obi is not yet mature enough for the presidency. “I wish Obi’s eyes could be opened to what is happening around him, but he can’t see it,” Ayodele said. “I don’t hate Peter Obi; I love him and his courage, but he is not yet mature for the position he is seeking.”

Ayodele concluded that Kwankwaso’s plans will soon be exposed, but it will be too late for Obi, who has already delved too deeply into the situation.
