Presidency mocks Peter Obi for failing to answer basic interview questions

The presidency has ridiculed Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate Peter Obi over a recent interview.

Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Policy Communication, posted the criticism on his verified X account on Wednesday.

Bwala was responding to Obi’s interview with Oseni Rufai on Tuesday, during which Obi declined to discuss his plans for addressing the country’s chronic electricity shortages.

“This is the bold vision of Peter Obi as expressed by himself on a podcast interview,” Bwala wrote. “Have you taken your time to listen to his interview on a platform of his own unofficial spokesman? Even with the leading questions the guy no fit perform,” he added.

In the interview, the former Anambra State governor said that, if elected president, he would negotiate with agitators from various parts of the country.
