Porto’s future for Terem Moffi in doubt as club considers record‑breaking Barcelona striker

Terem Moffi’s future remains uncertain. The Super Eagles striker is expected to move clubs during the next transfer window, but his destination has not yet been announced, according to Afrik‑Foot.

Moffi joined Porto in the January transfer window after a falling out with OGC Nice, which stemmed from an incident involving some of the club’s supporters.

The move was largely driven by coach Francesco Farioli, who had previously coached Moffi at Nice before departing for Ajax in 2024.

Because the loan agreement did not contain an obligation to buy, it was originally anticipated that Moffi would return to his Ligue 1 parent club once the loan expired.

Last month, Nice co‑president Maurice Cohen announced that Moffi could not return to the club, making a permanent transfer unavoidable.
