Port Harcourt to Host the NWFL Super Six Tournament

Rivers State’s capital, Port Harcourt, will stage the 2026 Nigeria Women Football League Premiership Super Six Finals, the DAILY POST reports.

The season‑ending tournament is set to run from Friday 5 June to Sunday 14 June 2026.

Six clubs will compete for the title of 2026 NWFL champions.

The teams that have qualified for the Super Six are Bayelsa Queens, Edo Queens, Rivers Angels, Robo Queens, Nasarawa Amazons, and debutants Abia Angels.

Bayelsa Queens were last season’s champions, claiming their sixth title.

The tournament winner will earn a place in the WAFU B Women’s Champions League.
