Police dismantle child‑trafficking syndicate and recover stolen newborn in Akwa Ibom.

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has dismantled a child‑trafficking syndicate and recovered a newborn taken from its parents.

DSP Timfon John, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, announced on Friday that the baby had been sold for ₦145,000 without the father’s consent or knowledge.
