Poland coach reacts to draw with Nigeria's Super Eagles

Poland head coach Jan Urban expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance in a 2-2 draw against Nigeria’s Super Eagles, according to the DAILY POST.

The Red and Whites held Éric Chelle’s side to a draw in an international friendly held at the 58,000‑seat Stadion PGE Narodowy in Warsaw on Wednesday night.

Poland opened the scoring early but fell behind when Terem Moffi headed in a tap‑in in the 23rd minute.

The hosts equalised through Kacper Potuski late in the first half.

Nigeria regained the lead when Paul Onuachu converted a penalty in the 76th minute.

Poland answered once more, with Przemyslaw Wiśniewski striking a superb goal deep into stoppage time.

Urban said his side played well despite not securing a win.

“The scenario from the previous matches repeated itself – we played, the opponent scored. But I wasn’t concerned because we played well. And we played well after the goal. It was a good match against a good team,” he told laczynaspilka.pl.
