President Bola Tinubu attended Eid prayers at Dodan Barracks in Lagos on Wednesday.
He was joined by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, former Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly Mudashiru Obasa, Deputy Governor and Lagos APC governorship candidate Obafemi Hamzat, and other Muslim attendees.

Meanwhile, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar attended Eid prayers at the AYA Mosque in Abuja.
Atiku posted on his social media account on Wednesday, noting that the prayers were offered in gratitude to Allah for His blessings.
“I joined fellow Muslims this morning at the AYA Mosque in Abuja to observe the Eid prayers in gratitude to Allah for His countless blessings,” he wrote.

“As we celebrate this sacred occasion, may the spirit of Eid strengthen our bonds of unity, compassion, sacrifice, and peace as one people and one nation,” Atiku stated.

“Eid Mubarak to all Muslim faithful across Nigeria and around the world. May Allah accept our prayers and grant lasting peace and prosperity to our nation,” he added.
