Patrice Motsepe, president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), met bilaterally with Nigerian President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday during the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, Kenya.
The two leaders examined ways to deepen cooperation among governments, the football sector and the private sphere to advance development projects in Nigeria and throughout Africa.
CAF posted photographs of the encounter on its X account.
In the accompanying statement, CAF noted, “CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe and the Nigerian Head of State, His Excellency Bola Tinubu, met today on the sidelines of the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi.
“They discussed several topics, particularly cooperation between the government, football, and the private sector in Nigeria and in Africa.”
