Chelsea forward João Pedro has attracted attention during his first season, prompting comparisons with club legend Didier Drogba.
The Brazilian has been described as the powerful striker Chelsea has been searching for, making a significant impact in both the Premier League and the Champions League.
While fans are excited, Pedro told TNT Sports that he wants to remain modest and that he should not be immediately compared to a legend like Drogba.

“Drogba is an idol at Chelsea. Some fans joke: ‘Maybe we found the new Drogba?’ But I try to go my own way, slowly, without thinking too much about that.”
“Since I arrived at Chelsea, I made it very clear because at Watford I played as a No.10, as a No.9. At Brighton too. But since coming here, it’s something I pushed for a lot – I wanted to play only as a No.9,” Pedro told TNT Sports and Lance.
“Today, I really like Kane and Lewandowski. I followed Kane more because of the Premier League and I take a lot of inspiration from him.”
