Payaza Africa Limited, a prominent payments infrastructure provider, announced Shopaza, an AI‑driven e‑commerce platform that enables African businesses and merchants to sell and receive payments more efficiently across borders.
The company says Shopaza gives merchants access to a robust, compliant, and scalable financial backbone, allowing them to sell seamlessly in international markets.
Shopaza was launched on Thursday in Lagos and is now live in 23 countries across Africa, North America, and Europe, where Payaza operates.
At the launch, Payaza Africa CEO Seyi Ebenezer said Shopaza represents a major step toward unlocking Africa’s commerce potential.
“Africa’s commerce potential has always been there. What was missing was the infrastructure to unlock it.”
