Senior Pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Center (DIGC), Dr. Paul Enenche, criticized what he described as the irresponsibility of some Nigerians who turn serious national issues into jokes.

During a mid‑week live service in Abuja on Wednesday, the clergyman questioned why a reasonable person would participate in an online giveaway organized by criminal elements.

According to the Daily Post, some netizens targeted a social media account operated by a suspected bandit, submitting their account details while seeking giveaways.

A young man captured in a viral video later claimed that the bandit offered him ₦100,000, only to demand ₦100 million from him afterward.

While leading the congregation in prayer for the nation on Wednesday night, Pastor Enenche said that some Nigerians are irresponsible, making a joke out of something devastating.

He stated, “I heard that there are people now canvassing for bandits to send them money, collecting blood money, knowing that this money comes from someone’s blood.”

“I believe that the country’s leadership knows that whatever happens, everything will be turned into a joke,” he added. “If the electoral commission declares anything it decides, there will be no consequence. If the judiciary miscarries justice, nothing happens.”
