Paris FC has declined a request from the French Professional Football League (LFP) to host the Ligue 1 trophy presentation for Paris Saint‑Germain.
The ceremony was planned to follow the upcoming “Parisian Derby” between the two clubs, scheduled for next Sunday at Stade Jean‑Bouin.
Le Parisien (Elbotola) reports that Paris FC management rejected the LFP’s proposal, stating they would not allow the title celebration to be held at their home ground.
The LFP had been considering Stade Jean‑Bouin as a potential venue for the trophy handover.
This decision disrupts the LFP’s plans, as the league had been searching for a suitable setting for the coronation celebrations.

The move comes amid security authorities’ refusal to permit major ceremonies at certain proposed locations in Paris, according to French media reports.
PSG secured the championship after a 2‑0 win in their postponed match against Lens on Wednesday, a result that would have been sufficient with a draw or a win.
Their focus will now turn to the UEFA Champions League final, where they will face Arsenal on May 30.
Luis Enrique’s side will aim to defend the trophy they won after a dominant 5‑0 victory over Inter Milan.
